I will be hopefully posting some more things this saturday.Meanwhile I came across this cool idea for an inexpensive way of arranging my craft tools! If your like me and have limited space, you need to come up with best way to utilize your space. Let me know if you guys decide to use this Idea.   ( Enjoy)

Hey Crafters!
Today I started work on My first Art journal page. Since I've been getting more into mixed media, it seems only natural that I would progress into art journaling. I was really inspired By the fall season coming up and of course Halloween! For My first Art journal I choose a (Strathmore) Brand journal which is actually called a mixed media journal. You could choose any brand journal , including maybe an old book you have lying around, but I wanted one made for art journaling because I wanted the pages to hold up well to various mediums. Most important thing to remember when art journaling is just have Fun with it! (Oh and put Gesso on you pages) I would list all the benefits of (Gesso) but I'm sure you guys have heard them a million times..If your just starting to art journal like me and have any questions please feel free to ask and I'll do my best to answer , because it can be a little hard to figure out where to start sometimes. Anyways I hope you guys Feel inspired By my first page and that it makes you wanna start you own! ( It's really fun I promise :-P)

Father's Day Card

Hey Crafters!
I'm like the ultimate Daddy's girl! (LOL)For those who know me personally know this to be true. Anyways I designed this for my Dad last year on father's day because I just always feel inspired when I think of my father , and I wanted to make a card to express just how much I love him! I decide to do a mixed media type of Card because when it comes to cards I really like to make my own rules.Plus my dad is an artist himself so I could just make an ordinary card ! This is actually one of my favorite cards I've designed ,which now that I think about it makes sense ,  because anything done out of love will always turn out amazing. Hope you love it as much as I do <3

I'm just loving the weather this morning here in Florida, we have a cool breeze yet it's super sunny (perfect beach weather if you ask me)!  I hope to get a little crafting done today but I'm one of type of artist who must get inspired in order to create, so well see what gets done today hehe. Anyways I hope you guys check out your local craft stores because there are some great deals going on at the moment ,I'll let ya'll know if I come across any amazing deals. My mixed media art tag I created a little while ago, and seriously this was so much fun to make that I really wanna make one on camera for you guys to enjoy and see the process.

Halloween Pumpkin Card

Hey Crafters!
Just wanted to stop by and show ya'll my halloween inspired card.I don't normally have much use for halloween cards but any excuse to get crafty and I'll take it! lol Well hope you guys like it and feel inspired.

Oh and I decide I'd show you how the matching envelope I decorated looked .. I wanted anyone who saw that envelope to think "if that's how the envelope looks , then how cool must whats inside be"..lol ..so hopefully I achieved that!

Altered Can ( mixed media project)

Hello Everyone!

I was kinda of going for a steam punk look.

I added the chain and screws.

(Vintage image as well a bronze charm ,i will be adding watch parts.)

I've been a very busy girl this week because I started my new Job!So far I am really enjoying my new job but because of that I have alot less craft time so I think I'm gonna start posting on the weekend more.I hope everyone is having a great week and weekend! I've been working on a altered can,  mixed media project to create a cute color pencil holder.I got really inspired by Rach0013 from youtube because she is just amazing,and has really cool idea's, though I'd say I put interpreted the idea into my own artistic style.I still wanna add more things to the can but I thought I'd share it with you.I hope you guys get inspired to possibly create your own version. I will be posting a video on my youtube channel : starsinpalm to show the can in more detail as well as pictures of the process so Sub my Channel and check that out!

I  recently found one of the first cards I ever made! It's funny thinking back on when I first started doing paper crafts,because I've done crafts my whole life really ,even before I knew that it was called crafts.I guess that's natural when you come from a family with artistic roots like mine, I remember doing all kinds of Arts and crafts with my dad.(Anyways I just thought I'd share this card with ya'll)

Hey Crafty People!!
So I finally got around to working on the Wood Block that I last posted about.I have had a lot of exciting things going on ,so it this project has taken a little longer then planned.I'm starting a new design job, that I'm super excited for ,and one of my best friends is coming into town ,so I'm feeling pretty Blessed at the moment.Anyways I hope you guys like what I did with this,one mans trash is another mans treasure!I will be posting a few more photos in a day or so with just the finishing details that I will be adding to this piece .

Hey crafters! I dunno what ya'll are up to on this lovely sunday, but I'm doing laundry and crafting.lol ...Anyways I'm working on a project to transform this plain old wood Block into Something worth looking at! So I'll let ya know how it goes and  post pictures of all finished four sides when I complete it.( hopefully tonight)! <3   Hope everyone is having a great day
